VALUE ADDED ARCHITECTURE - Masterplan

[ref: Ian Douglas-Jones - De{i}stress
Location: “Third Bank Island”
Purpose:  An extreme pleasure resort on an island between Embankment and Waterloo.
“It isn't for escaping life, just preventing life from escaping you.” The programme consists of a park landscape with sporting activities, a lido, extensive urban beach and promenade, with a large scale event space for celebrations and
concerts.  The island formation culminates in the iconic hotel tower, within which users experience gradations of pleasure. Bungee the atrium, chill out on the 24th floor meadow, or surf the 5th. Yet this building subtly subverts its own hedonism with glimpses of the sublime, the unlooked for moments of wonder and delight.
